MR. WEINEL

Timothy D. Weinel, 63, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away where he was residing in Butler, Kentucky on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

 

He was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky on July 3, 1962, to James H. Weinel, and the late Clara (Tittle) (née Youngman) Jackson. He was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, Ray Jackson, Sr.

 

Prior to retirement, Timothy previously worked in residential construction. He was also a veteran of the United States Army National Guard, and a member of the Augusta Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by his sons, Billy Weinel, Todd Weinel, and Jason Berdine; his daughter, Ashley Weinel; brothers, Anthony Jackson and Rodney Weinel; and his sisters, Tammy McNay (Ricky), Beverly Mayes, Susie Duncan, Angie King, Bobbie Mays (Gary), Karen Weinel, Jacklyn Ciambelli, and Shanna Weinel. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved canine companion, Piper.

 

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Ray Jackson, Jr. and Eddie Weinel.

 

The funeral for Timothy will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Augusta Trinity Church with Bro. Rick Jones officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Sharon Cemetery in Bracken County, Kentucky.

 

Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at the church.

 

Memorials are suggested in the form of donations to offset his final expenses in care of Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 145, Augusta, Kentucky 41002.
