SUSAN HODGE

Susan Jeanne (née Wallace) Hodge, 75, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Howard Hodge, who died on May 24, 2009.

 

Sue was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 26, 1950, to her parents, the late Robert D. and Jeanne (née Colvin) Wallace. Prior to her retirement, Sue was a high school teacher who enriched the minds of many students throughout her professional career, which included positions at St. Henry District High School and Ludlow Independent High School. She previously served as a member of the Covington School Board. The Parish Kitchen in Covington, Kentucky was dear to Sue and saw her serve there as a volunteer for many years.

 

Her family wishes to convey their special thanks and appreciation to all friends and caregivers who enriched Sue’s life in the past ten years. “You added your talents and friendship to a challenging time with grace and professionalism.”

 

Sue leaves behind two brothers, Bob Wallace (Susan O'Neill) and D. George Wallace (Debbie); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Noon at the Mother of God Catholic Church in Covington, Kentucky, by Father Britton Hennessey.

 

Visitation will also be on that day at the church from 11:00 AM to Noon.
