MRS. HAMILTON

Stephanie Amanda (neé Sharp) Hamilton, 46, of Brooksville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 27 years, Mark J. Hamilton.

 

Stephanie was born on November 3, 1977 in Cynthiana, Kentucky, to her parents, Stephen R. and Diana (neé Moore) Sharp. She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church in Foster, Kentucky.

 

She previously attended Maysville Community & Technical College. Passionate for her community and childcare, Stephanie worked for 27 years in the field. She also owned and operated Brooksville ChildCare and The Learning Center, where she employed nineteen team members and started a summer food program. She garnered the Buffalo Trace Area District Development Small Business “Best Daycare” award by The Ledger-Independent for several years, was a member of the Bracken County Chamber of Commerce, the Bracken County School-Site Based Council, the PTO, and was president of the Booster Club. Stephanie was also chosen to serve as the Grand Marshall for the Brooksville Christmas Parade.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, she is also survived by her sons, Jacob Wayne Hamilton and Joshua Ray Hamilton; her sister, Rebecca Clark (Gregory); her father- and mother-in-law, Wayne and Mary Hamilton; numerous aunts and uncles; her nephews, Christian Clark and Ethan Clark; and a sea of friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Sarah Moore, and Gayle and Caroline Sharp.

 

The funeral for Stephanie will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Christian Church in Foster, Kentucky, with Minister Josh Book officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Bracken Memorial Cemetery in Brooksville, Kentucky.

 

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fairview Christian Church on Friday, October 25, 2024.
