MR. LITZINGER

Stanley E. Litzinger, 94, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Maysville, Kentucky. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 74 years, Ruby (née Herrington) Litzinger.

 

He was born in Mason County, Kentucky on March 22, 1931, to his parents, the late Alfred H. and Nellie Mae (née Collins) Litzinger, Sr. A lifelong farmer, he was also a member of St. James Church in Minerva.

 

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his sons, Michael Litzinger (Sue) and Mark Litzinger (Nancy Guttman, M.D.); his daughters, Jane Adcock and Jo Ann Clark (Michael); eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

 

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his brothers, Louis Litzinger and Alfred Litzinger, Jr.; his sister, Mary Alice Colemire; his son-in-law, Harry Adcock; and two sisters-in-law, Edna Litzinger and Virginia Litzinger.

 

A Funeral Mass will be offered at the convenience of the family with interment following in the St. James Cemetery in Brooksville, Kentucky.
