MISS SAYERS

Sharon K. Sayers, 76, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.

 

Sharon was born in Augusta on December 26, 1947 to her parents, the late Michael and Elsie (neé Florer) Sayers. Prior to retirement, she was the clerical/secretarial manager for 33 years at the office of Dr. Milton Brindley. In life, she was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. She also loved to cook and to spend time outdoors on her porch. She was a member of St. Augustine Church in Augusta.

 

She leaves behind her sister, Margie J. England; her nephew, Michael Ginn; and special friends, Vicky Thornsbury, Lisa Wachter, Holly Hoffman, Scott Ginn, and Robin Ginn.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by death by her sister, Mary Jo Ginn; and her brothers-in-law, Newell Ginn and Robert A. England.

 

Services will be at the convenience of the family with interment in the St. Augustine Cemetery, Augusta, Kentucky.

 

There will be no visitation.

 

Memorials are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
