MRS. GREGORY

Phyllis A. Gregory (nee McCane), 88, formerly of Bracken County, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Gregory who died in April 27, 2008.

 

Phyllis was born on December 17, 1933 in Bracken County to her parents, the late Garner and Rosa Alberta (nee Sharp) McCane. She was a homemaker.

 

She leaves behind two sons, Michael Gregory (Marie) and Scott Gregory (Deborah); and her sister, L. June Chenault. Survivors also include her grandchildren, Tanner Gregory, Evan Gregory (Mollie), and Emma Long (Josh); three nieces, Carolyn Gossage (Keith), Pam Reilly, and Rhonda Hall; two nephews, Tom Sims and Jeff Chenault; and her special cousin, Billy Sharp.

 

Graveside rites will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 12:30 PM at the Johnsville Cemetery in Bracken County.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home in Augusta.

 

Memorials are suggested to the Queen City Hospice, 4605 Duke Drive, Mason, Ohio 45040.
