MR. WARD

James Kevin Ward, 71, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 

He was born on December 20, 1951 in Mason County, Kentucky to his parents, the late William R. and Jane (nee Flannery) Ward. He was a construction worker, a United States Navy veteran, and a member of St. Augustine Church in Augusta.

 

He leaves behind his son, Shane Ward (Kyla); his brother, Gary Ward (Susan); three sisters, Betsy Daubenberger (Chuck), Mary Jane Evans, and Susan Ten Eyck (George). Survivors also include, three grandchildren, Brookelynn Brindley, Tanner Castle, and Kenlie Click; one sister-in-law, Margery Schnicke; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Michael (Bill) Ward and Joe Ward; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Evans and Gordon Lindsay.

A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Sharon Cemetery in Bracken County.
