MRS. WHITE

Anna Elizabeth “Liz” White, 72, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie White, who passed away on October 1, 1974.

 

Liz was born on June 4, 1951 in Augusta to her parents, the late Tommy and Lorraine (neé Woods) Nickerson. She was a homemaker and member of the Augusta Christian Church. She took great pride in her city and especially in Augusta High School where she served as a volunteer for many events.

 

She leaves behind two sons, Ronald Lee White, Jr. (Connie), and Phillip Wayne White (Debbie); her daughter, Leslie Courts (Mike); her brother, James Ray Nickerson (Elizabeth); and two sisters, Janice Joyce Flynn and Linda Yates. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Zach White, Logan White, Weston White, Stephanie Coulter, Brittany Kirschbaum, Stevie Dawn Watkins, Heather Ashcraft, Brandon Courts, and Felicia Thornsbury; eleven great-grandchildren, Aiden White, Addison White, Zoey Kirschbaum, Addyson Kirschbaum, Sophee Watkins, Eli Kirschbaum, Grayson Watkins, Paisley White, Lincoln White, Briar White, and Hudson White; and several special friends including Kathy Fryman, Lacey Gray, Mica Robinson, and all of her friends at Augusta High School.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Nickerson and Charles Nickerson; her sisters, Mary Lou Waddell, Helen Fredrick, Shirley Henderson, Bonnie Jo Litzinger, Mabel Smith, and Marie Boggs; two brothers-in-law, Bill Andy Flynn and Jessie Waddell; and her sister-in-law, Delores Nickerson.

 

The funeral for Liz will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home with Mr. Robin Kelsch and Bro. Rick Jones officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Brooksville Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the funeral home.
