MR. JONES

Jeffrey Allen Jones, 57, of Brooksville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.

 

Jeff was born in Mason County on November 18, 1967. He was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of St. James Church in Brooksville and was a very active volunteer for fundraisers there, and also at St. Augustine Church and St. Augustine School in Augusta.

 

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Tina (née England) Jones; his son, Caleb Louis Jones; his mother, Mary Lou (née Nagel) Jones; brothers, Bill Jones (Debbie), Robert Jones, and David Jones (Christy); and sisters, Donna King, Barbara Jones, Janet Sticklen (Paul), and Karen Montgomery (Jeff). Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Pearl England, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Casey Allen Jones; and his father, William Jones.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 10th at 12:00 Noon at St. James in Brooksville by Reverend Joseph Shelton.

 

Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery.

 

Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM to Noon.

 

Memorials are suggested to St. James Church, 122 Garrett Ave., Brooksville, Kentucky 41004, or in the form of Mass intentions.
