MR. SPRADLIN

Goree A. Spradlin, 88, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. He leaves behind his dear wife of 59 years, Bonnie (née Clifford) Spradlin.

 

He was born in Munfordville, Kentucky on August 29, 1937, to his parents, the late Maxie S. and Ollie Marie (née Hogan) Spradlin. Goree was a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he was a manager for the Kentucky Utilities Company. He was also a member of the Minerva Methodist Church and past member of the Augusta Rotary Club.

 

In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, David Spradlin; his daughter, Lana Spradlin Bach (Kendal); his granddaughters, Morgan Bach (Travis), McKhale Alexander, and Makenna Bach (Dylan). He also leaves behind his great-granddaughter, Josee Alexander; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Spradlin, as well as two brothers and two sisters.

 

Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Evergreen Memorial Garden in Paris, Kentucky.
