MRS. MYERS

Gay Frazier Myers, born October 8, 1941, moved on to her next home on September 18, 2024.  She was predeceased by her mother Ada, uncle Ernest, brother Jimmy, and sister Betty, whom she loved and missed every day.

 

She is survived by and loved her husband of 65 years, Jacob, her son David (Cheri) Myers, granddaughter Lydia (Jake) Larson, grandson Jonathan (Megan) Myers, niece Karen (Ed) Thornsbury, niece Angie (Randy) McKenzie, and niece Jill (Mark) Kiskaden.  She is also survived by her aunt Teresa (Ernest) Moore and Sheila (Timothy Dewitt).  One generation removed are Alex and Sarah Thornsbury with Samantha, Jordan, and Jaxson; Ashlee (Scott) Miller with Natalee, Claire, and Maclain; Hunter Kiskaden; McKenna Kiskaden with Mylah and Blake…all whom she loved.

 

Her family was the focal point of her life, and she lived to see them, talk to them, think about them, and love them.  She loved animals and was happy feeding the birds, her cats and dogs, and the occasional stray raccoon.  We called her Mimi, her heart was for her family and God’s creatures, and we love her and will miss her greatly.

 

A celebration of life and visit the family will be held at Cemetery Chapel Christian Church on Sunday, September 22, 2:00 to 4:00pm with a short memorial service and dinner afterwards.
