DONALD K. REYNOLDS, SR.

Donald Kenneth Reynolds, Sr., 93, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Maysville, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet R. Reynolds, who passed away on June 19, 2021.

 

Don was born on February 10, 1933, in Fleming County, Kentucky, to his parents, the late Heber W. and Anna (née Mineer) Reynolds. Prior to retirement, he worked as an assembly line employee for 31 years for General Motors in Cincinnati. He also served his country in the United States Army, a veteran of the Korean War.

 

Surviving him are his two sons, Donald K. Reynolds, Jr. (Kim) and Michael Reynolds (Tracy); his grandchildren, Kendra Humphrey (Justin), Kaitlyn Selby, Alexandra Younger (Mike), and Michael Reynolds, Jr.; six great-grandchildren; two special brothers-in-law; three special sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Maurice Reynolds and James Reynolds; and his sisters, Mary Mitchell, Betty Bradford, and Audrey Crump.

 

There will be a graveside service on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Poplar Grove Road in Fleming County, Kentucky.

 

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation.

 

Memorials can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
