MS. SHEPHERD

Brenda Lee Shepherd (nee Jolly), 56, of Brooksville, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was a homemaker.

 

Brenda was born in Nicholas County on February 4, 1966 to her parents, the late Henry Thomas and Marjorie (nee Shields) Jolly.

 

Survivors include her partner of 23 years, Shirley Gene Tucker; her son, Darrell Shepherd (Jamica Scott); two daughters, Amanda Mitchell (Sam Jones) and Julie Lawson (Timmy); three brothers; and four sisters. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home in Augusta, Kentucky with Pastor Philip McMurrin presiding.

 

Interment will follow in the Askins Cemetery in Bracken County.

 

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials, if desired, are suggested in care of Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home.
