MRS. HARGETT

Roberta “Bobbie” Hargett (nee Beyersdoerfer), 74, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Maysville, Kentucky.

 

Bobbie was born in Bracken County on October 14, 1947 to her parents, the late Herbert and Mildred (nee Shofstall) Beyersdoerfer. She was a homemaker whose life also centered around the Chatham Christian Church, where she was involved with many organizations and activities. In addition to crafting, her true enjoyment came from her beloved children and grandchildren.

 

She leaves behind two sons, Brian Hargett (Barbara) and Randy Hargett; her daughter, Lora Lonaker (Steven); her sister, Delores McCane; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Hargett, and a dear brother-in-law, Ronnie McCane.

 

The funeral for Bobbie will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home in Augusta with Bro. Jackie McElfresh presiding.

 

Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, also on Wednesday at the funeral home.
