MR. CUMMINS

Ronald “Ronnie” Lloyd Cummins, 86, of Germantown, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky.

 

Ronnie was born on October 9, 1938, in Brooksville, Kentucky to his parents, the late Lloyd and Evelyn (née Happe) Cummins. Ronnie previously worked at Clopay and was the owner of Cummins Trucking Inc. of Germantown. He was the happiest on the farm out on the tractor doing jobs or repairing some piece of equipment in his shop. Ronnie was a member of the Germantown Christian Church.

 

Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Polly (née Turner) Cummins; daughter, Kathryn (Bryan) Crouch; son, Max Cummins; his brother, Donald (Joyce) Cummins; grandchildren, Mikayla Cummins and Dustin (Shayla) Crouch; great-grandchildren, Addalynn Grace Crouch, KingsLeagh Maree Crouch, Gentry Thomas Crouch, and Blayne Allan Crouch; nephew Jason Edward (Misti) Cummins; and niece, Rena Beth (Tony) Jarrell; and several great-nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Cummins; his brother, Eddie Cummins; and his sister-in-law, Pauline Cummins Smith.

 

The funeral service for Ronnie will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home in Augusta by Bro. Larry Pittman.

 

Interment will follow in the Bracken Memorial Cemetery in Brooksville, Kentucky.

Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
