KATHY ANN WOODRUFF

Kathy Ann Woodruff, 69, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at her residence.

 

She was born in Bracken County on January 20, 1957, to her parents, the late James and Dorothy (née Kiskaden) Woodruff. She was fondly known to her nieces and nephews as “Mammy”.

 

Surviving her are her son, John Woodruff (Courtney); her brothers, Tim Woodruff (Cindy), Tom Woodruff (Lisa), Jim Woodruff, Ricky Woodruff, Jackie “Beaver” Woodruff, and Buddy Woodruff (Peggy); her grandchildren, Johnny Woodruff, Audrey Moore (Jace), and Derrick Mooney; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney “Punky” Woodruff; her stillborn sister, Dottie; and her sisters-in-law, Michelle Woodruff and Karen Woodruff.

 

A graveside service will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Family Garden Cemetery on the Woodruff-Wilson Farm.

 

There will be no visitation.

 

Memorials are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
